2024 Daiwa Certate Spinning Reel
The 24 Daiwa Certate is the successor to the highly regarded 18 Certate, and it boasts a number of improvements, including:
- Lighter weight: The 24 Certate features a full metal (AL) Monocoque Body, which is both strong and lightweight. This is achieved by using a special material and design that minimizes weight without sacrificing strength.
- Improved smoothness: The reel features Daiwa's Magsealed technology, which uses magnetic oil to protect the reel's internal components from water and dust intrusion. This results in a smoother feel and longer reel life.
- More powerful drag: The ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) system has been further improved to provide even smoother and more consistent drag performance, even under heavy loads.
- More durable gears: The Digigear system is now made from a stronger and more durable material, which can better handle the stress of large fish.
